Coming Soon to a Toy Store Near You: The George Bush Doll

It was reported that some toy company was going to come out with a talking George Bush doll.

If you squeeze his right hand... [the heavens might fall in if you had to squeeze his left hand...] the head looks straight ahead and the doll says, "Stay the course! Stay the course!" or "Not leaving till we finish the job." The only thing is that for it to run, you have to go and borrow some batteries from the Chinese, or else the doll will run out of juice. And the Chinese will expect us to eventually pay them back with interest for the batteries they loaned us.

Frankly, to most people this doll is quickly losing its appeal even before it hits the shelves this year for the Christmas season. It just does not come across as very sincere. Oh, well, I guess we don't always pick a winner every time in this country when it comes to toy designs... or presidents.
